A monitoring inspection was conducted today between 9:00am and 10:30am. There were 23 children present, with 5 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed. Evidence
A written agreement between the parent and the center was not obtained for child #1 by the first day of attendance, 5/1/2023.Plan of Correction: I will get the missing agreement from the parent.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-290-A-3 Description: Based on observation, all electrical outlets did not have protective covers.
Evidence
Two electrical outlets in the infant room did not have protective covers.Plan of Correction: Corrected during the inspection. Staff will check the outlets every morning to make sure they all have covers.
