A monitoring inspection was initiated on May 4, 2023 and concluded on May 8, 2023. The on site inspection was from approximately 11:40 am to 2:15 pm on May 4, 2023. The center director was unavailable for the on site inspection. However, a designee was available throughout the inspection to assist and answer any questions.
There were 51 children present, ranging in ages from 3 to 5 years, with 9 staff supervising. A total of 6 child records were reviewed on site and the records for 5 staff were provided for remote review on May 8, 2023.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition.
During the inspection, the children were observed finishing lunch, engaged in outdoor activities and nap time. Staff were observed having positive interactions with the children. The center is equipped with toys and supplies and items were available to the children.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction and date to be corrected for each violation cited on the violation notice and return it to me within 5 business days from today. Please specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Just writing the word corrected is not acceptable.
Your plan of correction must contain: 1) steps to correct the noncompliance with the standard(s), 2) measures to prevent the noncompliance from occurring again; and 3) person(s) responsible for implementing each step and/or monitoring any preventative measures. Please do not use staff names; list staff by positions only.
