Technical Assistance:
Background checks of all board members, officers, and site supervisory staff will be reviewed upon receipt of the program's renewal application. The renewal application should be received by the Virginia Department of Education no later than 7/6/2023.

Resources to include an updated licensing orientation, Virginia sponsored orientation, child abuse and neglect training, daily health observation training, and contact information to register for a licensing training were submitted to the site supervisor.

Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 9:20am-10:50am. There were 25 children directly supervised by 3 staff. The physical plant, 4 staff records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in morning meeting and transitioning to activities. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for the children in care. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.
