Discussed potty training and will need to request for AV if diaper surface is not being used. Staff need to hand washing between each time assisting a child in the bathroom. Recommended to develop procedures for bathroom time management.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 12:15pm- 1:51pm. At the time of entrance, 28 children were in care with 8 staff members present. Additional staff were available to assist. The sample size consisted of 3 children?s records and 3 staff records. Children were observed eating lunch, outside side freely playing and bathroom break.
Information gathered during the inspection determined noncompliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Evidence:

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-560-G Description: Based on observation , the licensee did not ensure the food container shall be sealed and clearly dated and labeled in a way that identifies the owner.
