Provided consultation on standard:
1) 40 L and 40M: using similar terminology regarding "allergies, sensitivities and dietary restrictions" so that all staff are clear about the differences; dating the list; maintaining child-related documentation regarding the steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction with the child
2) 550: procedures for shelter-in-place vs lockdown scenarios
3) 500: a nonabsorbent surface is required to be used when diapering children under three years of age. If a pullup is taken off and thrown away, it is considered a ?dirty diaper.?

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 9:45am - 12:00 noon with the director. There were 51 children, ranging from five months to six years of age, present with ten staff supervising. Infant care was observed, and older children were observed playing outside on the playground and engaged in free play activities in a variety of centers. Five child records, five staff records, and two medications were reviewed along with the emergency drill log, daily attendance, written allergy list, fire and health inspections, and required posted information.
