Comments:
An unannounced Monitor Inspection was conducted on May 4, 2023. Upon arrival at 2:40 PM there were a total of 21 children under the care of 4 staff present during the inspection. The Licensing Inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 3 staff records, along with any requested program records submitted by the facility to determine if required documentation was complete.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-550-G
Description: Based on inspection, the Licensee failed to maintain documentation of the emergency evacuation, shelter-in-place and lockdown drills.

EVIDENCE:
Documentation of emergency drills (evacuation, shelter-in-place & lockdown) were unavailable.

Plan of Correction: Emergency drills will be documented with required information. Documentation of drills will be kept on file for at least a year.
