An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on February 6 2023 between 11:45am and 1:00pm. There were 45 children in the care of 14 staff members. Children were observed washing hands, preparing for nap, and napping. A sampling of children's records, staffing records, the attendance record, emergency drills, and the physical space was reviewed and inspected. Standard #: 8VAC20-780-280-B Description: Based on direct observation, the center did not ensure that all hazard substances were kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
Evidence: Cleaning supplies were located unlocked in the center. The items were located high up enough to prevent access by children, but must be maintained in a locked location.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
