A monitoring inspection initiated on June 16, 2023 from 7:43 am until 8:29 am at the program. The inspection was concluded on June 20, 2023 after review of staff records. There were 16 children present with 2 staff supervising. The inspector completed observation of the drop off procedures, children participating in age appropriate games/activities, interacting with peers and staff, completing bathroom breaks. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care, medication, and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 children, 2 staff records and 2 medications were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-780-160-C Description: Based on review of staff records and review of documentation, in 1 of 2 records the center did not ensure to obtain tuberculosis (TB) screening at least every two years from the initial screening or testing.
Evidence: In Staff #1's record (date of hire: 03/22/07), the last tuberculosis screening was dated 01/08/21.
