Licensing inspector discussed signature requirements for minor injury reports.

An unannounced focused inspection was conducted today from approximately 3:00pm-4:00pm. There were 90 children in the direct care and supervision of 20 staff. A sample of 4 children?s records, and 4 staff records were reviewed. The children were observed napping, singing, engaged in an art project and being picked up by parents. Zero new staff have been hired since the last inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. The exit interview was conducted with the provider. Standard #: 22.1-289.035-B-4 Description: Based on record review, the center did not obtain a search of the child abuse and neglect registry or equivalent registry from any state in which the individual has resided in the preceding five years.
Evidence:
Staff A did not have a central registry search for a state they've lived in within the last 5 years.Plan of Correction: The search will be initiated and results will be sent to the inspector.
