A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted today to review supplemental health and safety requirements not covered in the licensing regulations. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date, and the two inspections combined cover all SHSI requirements. An area of non-compliance of the supplemental SHSI requirements was found. Standard #: 8VAC20-780-600-F Description: Based on records reviewed, 1 of 3 staff records did not include documentation of the Virginia Health + Safety training course (3 hours) which is required annually. Evidence: Staff #7-The training certificate on-file was dated as completed 4/27/22. Plan of Correction: If the course was not completed, the staff person will complete it promptly. If the course was completed, documentation of training will be placed in the staff record.
