Consultation provided on staffing during field trips and making sure your bus is maintained in operable condition to include air conditioining during the hot summer months.

A complaint was received involving the care, protection and guidance of children, nutrition, food services, transportation, field trips, sight and sound supervision, and ratios.
Interviews, observation and a review of recordkeeping were conducted and the complaint was determined to be invalid. The violations outlined on the violation notice are non complaint related.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-160-A Complaint related: No Description: Based on a review of recordkeeping and interviews, it was determined that staff #1 did not have a negative tuberculosis skin test/screening on file at the time of employment and prior to contact with children. Plan of Correction: Staff #1 will get the tuberculosis screening.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-240-C Complaint related: No Description: Based on a review of recordkeeping and interviews, it was determined that Staff #1 had not been provided orientation training within seven days of the date of assuming job responsibilities and prior to working alone with children. Plan of Correction: We will provide staff #1 with orientation training.
