An unannounced Monitor Inspection was conducted on November 15, 2023. There were 13 children, ages 5-9 years old and 3 staff present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel, environment and equipment, care of children, preventing the spread of disease, emergencies and nutrition. Licensing Inspector review 3 children's records and 3 staff records.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliances with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

EVIDENCE:
The telephone number of a person to be notified in an emergency was not kept at the center for each staff.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-550-D Description: Based on inspection, the Center failed to implement a monthly practice evacuation drill.
EVIDENCE:
Evacuation drills were not conducted January 2023 through October 2023.Plan of Correction: Staff and children will practice and document evacuation procedures each month beginning November 2023
