A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 1/25/2024.There were 44 children present with 6 staff supervising. The children were observed during outside time. A total of 5 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 9:15 am and concluded at 10:15 am.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-550-E Description: Based on review of documentation and staff interview the center did not ensure shelter in place procedures shall be practiced a minimum of twice per year.
Evidence: Staff confirmed they did not conduct 2 shelter in place drills in 2023.Plan of Correction: Center will conduct 2 shelter in place drills in 2024.
