Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 3/7/24 from 10:00am to 11:30am with program staff and management. There were 10 children in care, ranging in age from four- to five-years-old, supervised by two staff. The children were observed listening to a story, and practicing writing their numbers, counting, and grouping. Three child records and two staff records were reviewed. The Center has multiple staff with current certification in CPR and First Aid, and one staff trained in Daily Health Observation Training. There were no medications on-site for the program, but there are multiple staff with current certification in Medication Administration Training (MAT). Required postings were observed. The attendance and emergency drill log were reviewed. Please complete the "Plan of Correction" and "Date to be Corrected" areas on the Violation Notice for each violation cited and return to me by close of business on 3/20/24. Plans of correction should include steps to correct the noncompliance with the standard, and measures to prevent the noncompliance from occurring again.

Description: Based on review of two staff records, the program did not obtain the results of a search of the central registry for each staff every five years as required. Evidence: The most recent central registry results on record for Staff #2 were dated 11/28/18.
