A health and safety subsidy inspection was conducted on 12/19/2022. The vendor was present with one child in care. A total of 4 points. Observed the child napping and playing with the vendor. The vendor has lots of toys for the child to explore. A violation notice was given to the vendor at the time of the inspection. Standard #: 22.1-289.036-A Description: The vendor failed to get one of the needed background checks for a household members.
Evidence: Based on the review of the vendors records and interview with the vendor, the vendor did not get the background check needed for a household member who turned 14 in April, 2022.Plan of Correction: We will send the CPS check for our son.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-410-B-1 Description: The vendor failed to have a flashlight accessible.
Evidence: During the inspection, the vendor could not locate her flashlight.Plan of Correction: We found the flashlight after you left.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-410-B-2 Description: The vendor failed to have a radio accessible.
Evidence: During the inspection, the vendor could not locate her radio.Plan of Correction: We found our radio after you left.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-430-A-1 Description: Based on the review of records, the vendor failed to conduct any of the required emergency drills.
Evidence: According to the vendor and her husband they did not know that they had to conduct emergency drills of any kind. So they have not.Plan of Correction: We did not know we needed to have emergency drill. We will make sure we have all the drills we need to have.
