Inspector discussed changes to Background Checks including the requirement to have out of state CPS checks conducted for staff members that have lived outside of the commonwealth in the last 5 years.
- Comments:

An unannounced inspection for a RECDC was conducted today from 945- 1045. The classrooms, program, and ratios were observed. There were 71 children present today with 16 staff actively supervising the children and Administrative staff. The written disclosure requirements and the background checks for staff were reviewed and deemed current. There are 3 staff with current MAT certification and staff are also CPR/First Aid certified. Standard #: 63.2(17)-1716-B-3 Description: Based on interviews, the program does not have a staff member trained to perform daily health screenings. Plan of Correction: Staff have checked the children but we will have a few staff receive the training for next school year.
