Licensing Inspector arrived at 8:45 and departed at 11:00 AM to conduct a religiously exempt child day center inspection. At the time of the inspection, there were 47 children (ages infant through school-age) in care with 16 staff. Children were observed playing outdoors, participating in circle time, eating snack and participating in free play activities. Medication, injury reports and other center documents were also reviewed. All Code of Virginia sections related to religiously exempt child day centers were reviewed and found to be in compliance.
