An exit interview was conducted with the director to discuss the results of today's inspection. Consultation was given regarding updated regulations in child/staff ratios, CPR certification, out of state searches, and accessing the department's website for notices, forms, and additional information. A copy of the new regulations was given to the director during this inspection.
- Comments:

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today, July 15, 2019 to determine the center's compliance with religious exempt requirements. The inspection was initiated at 1:40pm and concluded at approximately 3:30pm. No children were present during today's inspection. Administrative records, children's classrooms, restrooms, parrish hall, outdoor playground, and common areas were inspected. See attached notice for the violation found during this inspection. Standard #: 63.2(17)-1716-B-3 Description: Based on the inspection of administrative records, the required staff training has not been obtained. Evidence: During the inspection of administrative records and interview with the director, it was discovered staff have not received training in daily health screening and exclusion of sick children by a person trained to perform such screenings. Plan of Correction: Per director: We will have one staff in each classroom trained in daily health observation by the date of correction.
