An unannounced subsidy monitoring inspection was conducted today, 8/12/19. A violation notice was completed regarding the one repeat violation found during today's inspection. The children were busy playing in each class, going outside, singing songs, eating lunch and taking a nap. There are 26 children in care ranging in age from five months to four years old with five staff and one cook present. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. Inspection began: 9:35 am ended 12:45 pm.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-640 Description: Based on observation the vendor failed to ensure that there is cushioning materials under playground equipment. Evidence: 1. The playground equipment used by the children does not have a cushioning material under the swings, slides or climbing apparatus. Plan of Correction: The Director will have mulch purchased and placed under the playground equipment.
