Staff should have the results of a Search of the Central Registry within 30 days of employment. Please follow up with the local agency to obtain these results for the newly hired staff and forward results to me as they come in via email.

A compliance inspection to monitor the requirements for Religiously Exempt Child Day Centers was conducted on September 23, 2019 from 9:45 a.m to 11:45 a.m. At the time of arrival the following staff to child ratios were observed:
8 children, four years old, with 1 staff
10 children, four years old, with 1 staff
8 children, five years old, with 1 staff
8 children, five years old, with 1 staff
Classroom observations were made and children were observed engaged in learning centers, completing small group activities at tables, reading, building with construction materials and having circle time discussions. Eleven staff records were reviewed, on line handbooks and posted information were reviewed and the center program director was interviewed regarding center policies and procedures. The facility, to include all indoor areas used by children in care, as well as the outdoor play space, were observed.
Staff report that the program does not transport children in a vehicle while in care.
