An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted Thursday, September 26, 2019 to determine the center's compliance with religious exempt requirements. The inspection was initiated at approximately 10:00 AM and concluded at approximately 12:00 PM. A total of 43 children were present during the inspection and the following staff to child ratios were observed:
Twos: 6 children and 3 staff
Threes: 14 children and 2 staff
Fours: 10 children and 2 staff
Pre-K I: 7 children and 1 staff
Pre-K II: 6 children and 2 staff
Children were observed playing with toys, building with blocks, playing outside, singing songs, having books read to them, creating a family graph, having their diapers changed, washing hands and taking bathroom breaks and eating snack. All areas of the center were inspected including the classrooms, hallways, bathrooms and outdoor play areas. Five children?s records and five staff records were reviewed. Policies and procedures were discussed and information disclosed to parents, guardians and public was reviewed. If you have any questions, please contact the licensing inspector at (804) 662-9790.
