A Code of VA inspection was conducted on 11/13/2019 to review Code of VA requirements. Children were observed, and related children and staff files were reviewed along with the physical plant. There were 28 children in care aged 2 years-12 years with 3 staff present. The inspector arrived at 2 pm and departed the program at 4:30 P.M.. Children were active in play groups, homework time, activities, snack time, and rest time.
A subsidy health and safety inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements and Code requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in the Code standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the Code inspection and are identified on the violation notice.
