Licensing Inspector arrived at 12:15 and departed at 1:30 PM to conduct a religiously exempt code compliance inspection. At the time of the inspection, there were 58 children (ages infant through three years) in care with 10 staff. Children were observed participating in free play (infants, toddlers) and napping (older children). The sample size was 20 staff records.

Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-D-2 Description: Based on a review of 20 staff records, it was determined that the facility did not ensure that all staff had a completed search of the central registry on file within 30 days of employment.
Evidence:
The record for staff #12 did not contain a completed search of the central registry.Plan of Correction: Check will be obtained and placed in staff record.
