An unannounced Code compliance inspection was conducted today, 1/23/2020.
Upon arrival to the school the junior kindergarten class was in their classroom. The class then had lunch . There are 9 children in care with one staff.
A violation notice was completed regarding the violation found during today's inspection.
Please be advised that within 10 days of today information needs to be provided to the inspector that these violations have been corrected.
A review of staff and children's files was also conducted.

Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-C-2 Description: Based on interviews and review of staff records the center failed to ensure that all staff have a central registry record check by the end of the 30th day of employment.
Evidence:
1. Staff #1 does not have a central registry record check on file. Hire date of 9/2015.Plan of Correction: Staff had a central registry check conducted. The office staff emailed OBI to see if another one or copy could be sent to the school.
