An unannounced inspection was conducted today, 1/30/2020. Violations from the previous inspection was reviewed for compliance.
There were 27 children in care, ranging in age from two months to five years with eight staff present.

Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-D-2 Description: Based on interviews the provider failed to have all new staff submit to a sworn statement or affirmation before employment and central registry checks within 30 days of employment.
Evidence:
1. Staff # 1, 2, 3 do not have a sworn disclosure statement or affirmation on file before employment. All three staff were working the day of inspection 1/302020.
2. Staff # 1 & 3 do not have a central registry check on file within 30 days of employment. (Staff #1 hire date 9/17/19, staff #3 hire date summer 2019)Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
Standard #: 63.2(17)-1720.1-B-2 Description: Based on interviews the center failed to have staff submit to fingerprint based background check prior to first day of employment.
