An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on February 26, 2020 from approximately 11:15 am-12:30 pm. Upon arrival to the facility, there were 11 children present with two staff members. An additional staff person was on site for administrative and support purposes. The children were observed doing an arts and crafts activity and having free play. The center does not provide transportation. Three staff records were reviewed.

Standard #: 63.2(17)-1716-A-8 Description: Based on staff interview, the center did not ensure that there was a person trained in first aid/CPR is present at the center whenever and wherever children attending the center are present.
Evidence: The Director confirmed that there was not a person trained in first aid/CPR at the center.Plan of Correction: We will contact an agency and schedule a class by the end of March.
