This annual subsidy inspection was conducted by the inspector using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency declared by the Governor of Virginia in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Preliminary data was obtained from the vendor on December 8, 2020.
An annual subsidy inspection was initiated on December 9, 2020, at which time the vendor was contacted by video call to initiate the inspection, and concluded on December 11, 2020. The inspector emailed the vendor a list of items required to complete the inspection.
The vendor reported there were 36 children in care. The inspector reviewed 4 children?s records and 2 staff records submitted by the vendor to ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the vendor COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Information gathered during the inspection determined areas of non-compliance with applicable regulations or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the vendor.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-740-B-3-a Description: Based on inspection, the Vendor failed to have required equipment in area used for diapering.
EVIDENCE:
In the infant/toddler classroom, the diapering area did not include access to a sink with warm running water.Plan of Correction: Center Director will seek options to add a sink to the current diapering area or relocate the diapering area near an existing sink.
