Discussion that the documentation still needed to complete the request for a religious exemption is: a copy of the Fire Marshal inspection happening in the near future, and the Health Reports for Staff #10 and Staff #11.
Discussion that as of 07/01/2023, application fees and the fee for the required staff fingerprint check will no longer be covered by the commonwealth (VDOE).

An in-person, annual code compliance inspection was initiated and concluded by a representative from the VDOE, Office of Child Care Health and Safety (Fairfax) on 09/20/2022, between the hours of 10 am through 12:15 pm. There were 18 children present, ranging in preschool-age, 3 years to 5 years, with 4 staff supervising (plus 1 administrator), across a total of 2 classrooms. The inspector reviewed compliance in the following areas: posting of the written disclosure statement, qualifications, physical plant, capacity, food services, health reports, ratio and staffing, supervision, handwashing, daily health screenings, staff trainings, and background checks. The Inspector reviewed (11) staff records to ensure that the documentation was complete and in compliance.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable code sections. Therefore, a violation notice was not issued.
