Thank you for your assistance during this unannounced monitoring inspection. This on-site visit was conducted on October 5, 2022 from 11:16 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. Upon arrival there were 24 children in the care of 4 staff. Four children and five staff records were reviewed and updated. Areas of non-compliance may be found on the violation notice.

Standard #: 8VAC20-770-40-D-2 Description: Based on record the facility failed to submit a Virginia Central Registry Check for one employee within 30 days of hire.
Evidence:
1. Five staff records were reviewed.
2. Staff # 1 did not have documentation of obtaining a Virginia Central Registry Search within 30 days of hire. Date of hire was documented on 08/27/2022.
3. The director confirmed the Virginia Central Registry Search was not submitted.Plan of Correction: A Virginia Central Registry Search will be completed and submitted for Staff 1 as soon as possible. Documentation will be sent to the licensing inspector once received.
