A code compliance inspection was initiated and concluded on 4/10/2023. There were 10 children present, with 2 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in background checks and requirements for child day centers operated by religious institution exempt from licensure. A total of 2 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable code sections and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 22.1-289.031-B-3 Description: Based on inspection and interview with staff, the center has not established and implemented procedures for a daily simple health screening and exclusion of sick children by a trained person.
Evidence: The Director confirmed that there was not a trained person on site to conduct a daily simple health screening.Plan of Correction: The Director and an additional staff member will get trained as soon as possible.
