An unannounced VA 22.1-289.031 Code Compliance inspection was conducted from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. There were 18 children in care being supervised by 2 staff. The children were observed participating in a group singing activity. A total of three child records and two staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 22.1-289.031-A-6 Description: Based on observation and interview it was determined that the required aspects of the child day center's operations were not provided in a written statement to the parent and made available to the general public. Evidence: The required written statement in regards to the center's physical facilities, enrollment capacity, food services, health requirements for the staff, and public liability insurance was not provided to parents/guardians or made available to the general public. Plan of Correction: Administration will post the required information in a conspicuous place to the general public and provide the required information to parents/guardians.
