A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on July 27, 2023 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This on-site visit was conducted from 11:00 am through 12:20 pm. Upon arrival, there were 37 children, ages from 2 months through 5 , with 10 staff supervising. Five children records and ten staff records were reviewed and updated.
A licensing code compliance inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Evidence:
1. Ten staff records were reviewed.
2. Staff #4 did not have documentation of obtaining the required Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff within 90 days of employment.
3. Staff #4's date of hire was documented 03/02/2023.
