An annual health and safety training for subsidy providers is online at the VA DSS web site and must be completed by 3/2020. It is in addition to the 10 hour Preservice training that has been completed.
- Comments:

A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 5/31/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Physical space, emergency preparation, nutrition, medication procedures and care of children were observed. 3 children's records were reviewed. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. . If you have any questions regarding the inspection, please feel free to contact me.
