An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on June 11 2019 between 12:45pm and 1:45pm. There were 2 children observed napping in the direct care of the provider. The home is clean and organized. Age appropriate materials are available for children in care. Areas of non-compliance are listed on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-510-A Description: Based on observation, the family day home did not provide a child with an individual crib, cot, rest mat, or bed for resting or napping. Evidence: Child #2 was observed napping on top of a blanket on the floor. Plan of Correction: I will use the nap cot tomorrow.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-530-G Description: Based on observation, a child under two years of age is using a pillow. Evidence: During nap time, Child #2 was observed using a pillow during nap time. Plan of Correction: I will let his mother know.
