An unannounced monitoring visit and home tour was conducted from 12:55pm-1:30pm. At the time of inspectors' arrival there were 10 preschool aged children, totaling 23 points in care with the provider and an assistant. Children were observed participating in nap time through out the duration of the inspection. A sample of 5 children's records as well as the provider's, assistant and household members records were reviewed. No medications are administered at this site. Areas of noncompliance are detailed in the violation notice and were discussed with the provider at the conclusion of this inspection.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-A Description: Based on record review and interview it was determined the provider did not ensure that emergency evacuation procedures were practiced monthly. Evidence: 1. There was no evacuation drill documented for March 2019. 2. Provider reported that a shelter-in-place drill was completed in March 2019 but not an evacuation drill. Plan of Correction: Provider will ensure that emergency evacuation procedures are practiced and documented monthly.
