Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 02/13/2020 from 09:57am to 11:43am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The children were putting together a puzzle upon the inspector?s arrival. Today, there were four children, totaling 12 points, present with one caregiver. The caregiver was observed interacting with the children. Interviews were held with the caregiver throughout the inspection. Additionally, when appropriate the inspector interacted with children.

The provider does not administer medication.
The provider does not provide transportation.
The provider does not have a pet.

Four children?s records, one household member and two caregiver/household member's records were reviewed during the inspection.

Last shelter-in-place drill: 12/23/2019


A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. There was one violation found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection.

Description: Based on record review, the vendor did not ensure to have a written emergency preparedness plan that addresses caregiver responsibility and home readiness with respect to lock down procedures.
Evidence:
The vendor's emergency preparedness plan did not have documentation of lock down procedures.

Plan of Correction: I will complete the new emergency plan form.
