Discussed with the provider that as of September 25, 2020: The Virginia Department of Labor and Industry (DOLI) recently approved an Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and to protect Virginia workers. The standards apply to every employer, employee, and place of employment in Virginia, including child care settings. These regulations require staff in child care settings to wear cloth face coverings.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was conducted on 11/9/20. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were nine children present with the provider. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed two children?s records and one staff record submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
