Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A renewal inspection was initiated on April 9, 2021 and concluded on April 12, 2021. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. A virtual inspection was conducted beginning at 12:45 p.m. There were five children present, ages 15 months through 5 years old and one household child for a total of 15 points under the care and supervision of one staff. Two infants were observed sleeping. Preschool children were observed resting during naptime and one child was participating in a quiet activity. The inspector also emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed three children's records, one staff record and one household member record submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. Additionally, the licensing inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
