The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
- Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A monitoring inspection was initiated on 04/12/21 and concluded on 04/15/21. The in-charge person was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 7 children present and 2 caregivers. The inspector emailed the in-charge person a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 3 caregiver records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-760-A-1 Description: Based on observation the licensee did not ensure all required items were in the home's first aid kit.
Evidence:
The first aid kit did not have a cold pack.Plan of Correction: The following corrective action was provided by the licensee during the exit interview:
A cold pack will be purchased today and added to the first aid kit.
