Provided consultation on:
1) Within the first 90 days of employment or service all caregivers shall complete Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff,
2) All caregivers shall have within 90 days of employment current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the ages of children in care and
current certification in first aid appropriate to the ages of children in care.
3) All caregivers must complete the Virginia Preservice Update3-hour Update Training within a year of completing the Virginia Preservice Training and documentation is to be kept in the caregiver's record.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, and interviews.
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated on 8/11/2021 and concluded on 8/17/2021 with an exit interview. There were nine children present with the provider and an assistant supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
