This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, and a virtual tour of the program.
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated and concluded on 09/07/2021. There were 5 children present with 1 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-230-H Description: Based on record review and interview, the vendor did not ensure that each caregiver complete annually the Virginia Annual Health and Safety Update Course sponsored by the Department of Social Services as required.
Evidence:
1. The record of caregiver #1 contained a health and safety training dated 07/15/2019.
2. The provider acknowledged that the training had not been completed annually as required.Plan of Correction: I'm currently taking online health and safety training.
