Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program. A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 11/15/2021. The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 2 children present, ranging in ages from 6 months to 3 years, with 1 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records and 2 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Description:	Based on a review of records and interview, the provider did not ensure that any household member who is 18 years of age or older submits to fingerprinting for the purpose of a Criminal Records search. Evidence: Two provider / household member records were reviewed. The record for household member #2, who turned 18 years old in August, did not contain the results of a federal fingerprint criminal records search. The provider stated that she forgot to have this background check completed when household member turned 18 years old.
Plan of Correction:	The provider sent Household Member #2 for fingerprinting and the results were forwarded to the inspector on 11/17/2021.
