Technical Assistance:
Discussion of current zoning process to potential increase capacity from 7 to 12 children. Observation of main level was conducted and evaluated space for potential increase in the licensed capacity.

Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews, and a virtual tour of the program.

An unannounced modification inspection was completed on November 12, 2021, from 9:30 am to 10:15 am. The physical plant was reviewed. Provider received approval from Fairfax County Zoning Division for a maximum capacity of 12 children. Inspector evaluated space designated for use of operation, an increase in licensed capacity from 7 children to 12 will be reviewed. There were 7 children under the supervision of 2 caregivers. During the inspection, children were observed in free play inside the home. This allowed the children to freely access the supplies with independence. The interactions between the children and caregivers were seen to be positive and constructive in nature.

The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
