Discussed background check requirements for houseguests who remain in the home for more than 30 days.

Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today. There were no children in care today. The child care area, 1 child?s record, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-60-B
Description: Based on record review, one child's record was not complete.
Evidence:
Child 1's record did not contain: the parent's work address and phone number, the child's date of enrollment, the child's health insurance policy number, the name and date of the person who reviewed the child's proof of identity, and the address of one of two required emergency contacts.

Plan of Correction: Entered all the information and emailed documents.
