Technical Assistance:

The following requirements were discussed: Standard 430-A Children under two years of age and children over two years of age who are not developmentally ready to climb or descend stairs without supervision shall not have access to stair 22VAC40-111-(13) XIII. Transportation requirements

Description:	Based on observation the licensee did not ensure all electrical outlets had protective covers. Evidence: In the bathroom used by the children in care, there was 1 electrical outlet that did not have a cover.
Plan of Correction:	The licensee placed a cover over the electrical outlet in the bathroom.
Standard #:	8VAC20-800-920
Description:	Based on observation and interview the licensee did meet all menu requirements. Evidence: There was not a menu posted in the family day home. The licensee stated it was done, however it had not been put up yet.
Plan of Correction:	The licensee will ensure the menu is posted in the center for at least 1 week in advance.
Standard #:	8VAC20-800-320-A
Description:	Based on observation the licensee did not ensure all small electrical appliances were unplugged when not in use. Evidence: There was an air fryer and coffee pot that were plugged into an electrical outlet and not in use at the time.
Plan of Correction:	Both appliances were unplugged during the inspection.
