Provided consultation on completing updated Central Registry Search requests through NELA. Go to the DOE website for more information (childcareva.com)
Provided consultation on ensuring that fire drills are documented monthly in addition to the two shelter-in-place drills and one lockdown drills. Please complete and document a fire drill for April.

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 10:45 am - 12:15 pm with the provider and her assistant. There were 11 children, ranging from two years to five years of age, present for a total of 20 points. Children were observed playing in a variety of centers and were engaged in reading, math, puzzles, play doh, a computer game and construction. Three children's records and three provider/household member records were reviewed and in compliance. The dates of the last documented emergency drills: fire drill - 3/11/22, shelter-in-place drill - 4/5/22 and lockdown drill - 1/19/22. The provider is not Medication Administration Training (MAT) certified and cannot administer medication to children in care.
