Comments:
A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on Monday, May 9, 2022 in person at the family day home by the inspector. There were 12 children totaling present, with 2 caregivers supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of
2 child records and 1 caregiver, 1 household member records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Violations:
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-180-A
Description: Based on review of record and interview, the provider did not obtain for each adult household member a current TB screening for every two years from the date of the first screening or more frequently as recommended by a physician or the local health department.

Evidence: In the household member's record, the last dated TB screen was 10/21/2019.

Plan of Correction: The caregiver will ensure the household member schedule and complete an update TB screening and place in record for review.
