An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today.
There were nine children in care with two caregivers for a total of 21 points.
The children were resting.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-460-C
Description: Based on a review of documents and an interview with the provider, the facility failed to ensure that all animals are vaccinated for rabies.
Evidence:
1. The rabies vaccine certificates for two dogs expired in July 2022.

Plan of Correction: The provider will ensure that the dogs are vaccinated. The dogs do not have contact with the children.
