Comments:
A monitoring inspection was conducted on 8/4/22. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 2 caregiver records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. The violation cited was discussed with the provider during the exit interview.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-830-A
Description: Based upon review of documentation and provider interview, the provider has not ensured that emergency evacuation drill are practiced monthly.
Evidence:
1. The evacuation log provided did not include documentation of evacuation drills in June and July 2022.
2. The provider verified that there were no evacuation drills documented June and July 2022.

Plan of Correction: The provider responded with the following:
Monthly evacuation drills will be practiced and documented monthly.
