A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 09/07/2022 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 11 children were present with 2 caregivers. The programming area, outdoor playground area, menus, Provider, Assistant and Household member records, 11 child records, attendance, emergency drills, and emergency supplies were reviewed. Children were observed participating in writing and math worksheets, playing with legos, and learning about shapes. Diapering and handwashing procedures were also observed. There were adequate staff with current certification in CPR and First Aid training.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
